2-Vehicle Sunol Car Accident
SUNOL, Calif. (April 19, 2023) — A head-on Sunol crash happened on Highway 84 Wednesday morning, just east of the northbound Interstate 680 Freeway.
The collision occurred in the eastbound lanes of State Route 84 around 4:07 a.m. on April 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a gray Toyota and a tan Chrysler were involved, CHP officials said. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the two-vehicle crash on SR-84.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with minor injuries, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Sunol crash on Highway 84.
The California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation.
