
Major Injury Collision in Oroville
OROVILLE, Calif. (July 26, 2023) — A head-on Oroville crash on Larkin Road happened Wednesday morning on the bridge, just south of the Oroville Wildlife Area entrance.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 10 a.m. on July 26th at 4498-4499 Larkin Road, roughly two miles south of the Oroville Municipal Airport, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a white 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck and a black GMC SUV were involved in the collision over the Feather River outlet bridge.
The vehicles were blocking several traffic lanes and at least one person was injured.
The Butte County Fire Department and paramedics responded and located one person in the black vehicle with visible injuries. They transported the person to a hospital for treatment of major injuries, the report said.
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the Oroville crash on Larkin Road.
