2-Vehicle Crash at Highways 33 and 41 Near Avenal
AVENAL, Calif. (August 25, 2022) — A head-on crash happened Thursday morning at Highway 33, just south of Highway 41 and Reef Station in the Avenal area.
The traffic accident occurred about 6:36 a.m. on August 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two motorists collided due to unknown circumstances, police said. At least one person was apparently trapped in a vehicle following the Avenal crash.
Tow trucks responded to remove both damaged vehicles from the roadway. However, the report did not mention what types of vehicles were involved in the collision.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Avenal crash on Highway 33.
