Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Route 247
LUCERNE VALLEY, Calif. (July 21, 2023) — A head-on crash happened on Old Woman Springs Road also known as Highway 247 on Friday morning in Lucerne Valley.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 7:49 a.m. on July 21st, at Medanos Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a grey Dodge Ram pickup truck, a cement truck and a white Honda van were at the scene, but it’s unknown which two were involved.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person who was injured or had complaints of pain after the collision, but it’s unknown if anyone was hospitalized.
Two flatbed tow trucks came to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together what happened to determine fault for the traffic accident.
Finally, the roadway reopened to traffic roughly an hour later.
