Two-Vehicle Collision on Cohasset Road in Chico

CHICO, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2025) — A head-on crash happened Wednesday morning on Cohasset Road near Jack Rabbit Flat in Chico.

The two-vehicle crash occurred near 7700 to 7999 Cohassetat around 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver in a black Subaru Forester and a second vehicle were involved. One vehicle was hanging over the side of the roadway and the other was roughly 20 feet from the pavement.

Police and firefighters responded to help those involved and located at least one person with injuries, but there are no further details.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway and investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Cohasset Road in Chico.
