Head-on Crash on Reche Vista Drive in Riverside County
MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (August 25, 2022) — A two-vehicle, head-on crash on Reche Vista Drive in the Moreno Valley happened Thursday morning in the Riverside County area.
The crash occurred about 6:53 a.m. on August 25th between a black Kia sedan and a black Hyundai sedan, according to the California Highway Patrol. A woman became trapped in one of the vehicles with its air bags deployed.
Some good Samaritans were on the scene directing traffic when police arrived at the scene in front of 8495 Reche Vista Drive, just south of Reche Canyon Drive.
The CHP reported two people suffered minor injuries in the collision. CAL Fire Riverside sent paramedics to the scene to help those injured, but it’s unknown if anyone got transported to a hospital.
Meanwhile, both of the vehicles required a tow truck to remove them from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash. The road reopened to traffic by 8:17 a.m.
