Two Pickup Trucks in Head-on Crash in Magalia
MAGALIA, Calif. (Jan. 30, 2024) — A head-on crash involving two pickup trucks happened Tuesday morning at Skyway Road, just west of Coutolenc Road in Magalia.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 10:44 a.m. on Jan. 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the driver of a white Ford pickup truck was allegedly speeding when they collided head-on with another white Ford pickup truck near the intersection. The vehicles had major front-end damage from the collision and one went roughly 15 feet off the roadway and overturned onto its side.
Meanwhile, paramedics with the Butte County Fire Department responded to help anyone injured, but there are no further details at this time.
Tow trucks removed both vehicles from the intersection and investigators are working to determine fault for the Magalia crash on Skyway Road.
