Major Injury Crash on Stockton Boulevard
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (May 18, 2022) — A head-on crash involving major injuries occurred Wednesday at Stockton Boulevard and Orange Avenue in Sacramento.
The two-vehicle crash happened about 11:47 a.m. on May 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a brown Pontiac Grand Prix and a small, gold SUV reportedly collided due to unknown circumstances.
The vehicles blocked the southbound lanes of Stockton Boulevard. Both of them had major front-end damage from the collision. The driver of the Pontiac reportedly became stuck in the vehicle. It’s unknown how the person eventually got out.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to the scene to help those injured in the crash. At least one person suffered major injuries in the Sacramento collision.
Tow trucks came to remove both of the vehicles from the scene.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Sacramento crash on Stockton Boulevard.
