Vehicle Crashes into Canal, Major Injuries
LOS BANOS, Calif. (June 24, 2024) — A major injury crash happened Monday at Turner Island Road and Palazzo Road in the Los Banos area.
The head-on collision occurred at around 9:32 a.m. on June 24th and one of the vehicles wound up in a canal, the California Highway Patrol report said.
The drivers of a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and another vehicle were involved. The vehicle that fell into the canal was in four to five feet of water.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with injuries, but there are no further details at this time.
A tow truck removed the Toyota Tacoma with major front-end damage as well as the other vehicle involved in the crash.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Turner Island Road.
