Head-on Crash on Highway 138 in Crestline
CRESTLINE, Calif. (Nov. 17, 2022) — At least one person was injured in a head-on crash in Crestline Thursday afternoon on Highway 138 at Crestline Cutoff.
The crash occurred around 12:49 p.m. on Nov. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials say the head-on crash happened on State Route Highway 138 at a hairpin curve in the roadway between the drivers of a black 4-door sedan and a utility truck.
At least one person was injured and roughly 75 to 80 gallons of diesel fuel spilled onto the highway, police said.
Tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the scene.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Crestline crash.
