2-Vehicle Collision on River Road in Salinas
SALINAS, Calif. (Sept. 18, 2024) — A head-on crash happened in Salinas on Wednesday morning along River Road, just west of Corey Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred near 500 River Road at 6:44 a.m. on Sept. 18th in Monterey County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a black or white Honda Ridgeline and a black Honda Civic were involved. Both of the vehicles have major front-end damage and were not drivable after the collision.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with injuries, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway and investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on River Road in Salinas.
