2-Vehicle Santa Barbara Crash on Highway 154
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (March 7, 2022) — A head-on Santa Barbara crash happened Monday on the westbound State Route 154 also known as San Marcos Pass Road.
The two-vehicle collision happened about 1:48 p.m. on March 7th, just west of Lake Cachuma.
The drivers of a gold Lexus and a white BMW collided in front of the entrance to the Cahcuma Lake Campground, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A woman driving one of the vehicles called 911 to report the crash, but then stopped responding, police said.
Police and paramedics responded to the scene and located at least one person with injuries. They were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Meanwhile, the roadway reported by 3 p.m.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine liability for the Santa Barbara crash on Highway 154 or San Marcos Pass Road.
