Vehicle Strikes, Kills Woman at Ingraham Street and La Playa Avenue
Pacific Beach, CA (December 2, 2022) – Heather Labounty, a 33-year-old female, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Ingraham Street and La Playa Avenue.
According to FOX5 News, Labounty attempted to walk across a Pacific Beach street on November 10. While in the roadway, a passing vehicle struck the woman. Earlier reports indicated the collision took place outside a marked crosswalk near the intersection of Ingraham of La Playa.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Pacific Beach
Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 9:45 p.m. Medical personnel rendered first aid to the victim, then transported her to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. The article published online mentioned the patient became unresponsive, and sadly died while on the way to the hospital. Authorities later identified the fatal victim as Heather Labounty.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the catastrophic incident. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
