2 Injured in Crash at Highway 111 and Heber Road Saturday
HEBER, CA (September 7, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at Highway 111 and Heber Road in Imperial County.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident on Saturday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck on September 4 at about 4:53 p.m.
CHP determined that two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on southbound Highway 111 at the intersection with East Heber Road.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a red GMC Terrain and a gray Honda Civic. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found a driver and a passenger who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. They then took both patients to the El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection to shut down following the Heber car crash.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
