Driver and Passenger Hospitalized After Collision on US Highway 395 Tuesday
Susanville, CA (August 24, 2021) – Two people–Heidi Cruz and Robert Sisk, suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on US Highway 395 Tuesday afternoon.
The KRCRTV News published an article online indication a vehicle crashed on the highway just north of Deep Cut Road. Preliminary investigation revealed the driver, 55-year-old Robert Sisk, allowed the car to veer into the southbound lanes. The vehicle continued onto the west dirt shoulder, and eventually flipped.
Officials said one passenger sadly died as a result of the collision.

Meanwhile, responding emergency teams found Robert Sisk and another passenger with injuries. Paramedics transported the two parties to Banner Lassen Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities later confirmed the identity of the injured passenger as 54-year-old Heidi Cruz, of Burney.
