1 Killed, 2 Injured in Car Crash on Highway 74
DATE OF COLLISION: Friday, January 11th
January 12, 2019 – One person was killed, and multiple others were injured in a traffic collision on Highway 74 Friday evening, according to the Press Enterprise.
Deadly Multi-Vehicle Accident in Hemet Friday, Jan 11
As many as three vehicles reportedly collided on Highway 74, a quarter mile west of the U.S. Forest Service Cranston fire station. The incident caused one vehicle to veer off the roadway, and slam into a tree.
Emergency personnel arrived at the accident scene shortly after 10 p.m., and found one person with fatal injuries sustained in the crash. Pending notification of next of kin, the name of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Authorities added two other unidentified parties suffered minor injuries as a result of the wreck.
At this time, the precise circumstances that led to the collision are still being determined. The California Highway Patrol is the agency handling the investigation.
