1 Killed in Wrong-Way Collision Near Stetson Avenue
Hemet, CA (October 22, 2022) – One person died, and several others suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Warren Road.
According to My News LA, two vehicles collided near Stetson Avenue Tuesday afternoon. Earlier reports indicated a Nissan sedan was heading south on Warren when the driver, for an unknown reason, allowed the car to drift onto the shoulder. Officials said the driver of the Nissan attempted to veer into the correct lanes but instead over-corrected. The Nissan ended up careening into the northbound lanes of Warren, and drove into the path of a Toyota SUV.
The article published online confirmed the Nissan and Toyota crashed into each other. The catastrophic incident took place around 3:15 p.m.
Several Injured in Car Accident on Warren Road in Hemet
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found as many as four people suffering in injuries. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to a passenger in the Nissan; but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Authorities added two other occupants in the Nissan, and the driver of the Toyota were all taken to a regional trauma center for treatment of major injuries.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened on Warren Road.
