HEMET, California (Tuesday, December 8, 2015) – A vehicle allegedly struck two pedestrians in a hit-and-run early this evening at the intersection of South Columbia Street and State Route Highway 74.
When emergency medical technicians arrived on the scene however they only found one subject with minor injuries. He was laying in the roadway. He was taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment and observation.
The accident occurred at about 6:23 p.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, Indio. A man turned himself over to the Hemet Police Department, claiming to have struck the subject in question.
