HEMET, California (October 10, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, at least one person was hurt as a result of a hit-and-run collision at Columbia Street and Acacia Avenue Monday evening.
At about 6:03 p.m., the CHP team logged a vehicle was t-boned at the intersection by a motorist that evaded the scene after the collision. The CHP report mentioned a Nissan Pathfinder but its role in the incident was not clear.
Further, the hit-and-run accident resulted in one male party injured. As per the log, medics found a man at the crash site bleeding from his head. He was immediately provided treatment but his current condition was not disclosed.
Further, two other people from the victim’s vehicle were located at the site and are being probed if they were injured from the incident.
Police officers have launched a search operation to find the hit-and-run suspect.
