HEMET: Motorcycle, Car Accident at Florida Avenue and Sanderson Avenue
Two Injured in Hemet Crash at Florida and Sanderson Avenues
HEMET, Calif. (Sept. 9, 2026) — A two-vehicle accident involving a silver Toyota sedan and black motorcycle happened Tuesday night at Florida Avenue and Sanderson Avenue in Hemet.
The collision occurred around 6:32 p.m. on September 8, 2026, at the Hemet intersection. The motorcyclists collided with the front passenger side of the car and then overturned onto its left side in the roadway. The car came to a stop at the corner with its hood and front end heavily damaged and windshield smashed.
The motorcyclist suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital by ambulance. Meanwhile, the woman who was in the car was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
Authorities closed the southbound lanes of Sanderson Avenue between Devonshire Avenue and Florida Avenue to investigate and clear the vehicles from the roadway.
