HEMET, California (Monday, October 19, 2015) – Craig Shrum, 45, of Hemet has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in a two-vehicle traffic collision in the eastbound lanes of State Route Highway 74, near Stanford Street. The number of injuries was not reported at this time.
According to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, Riverside, the accident occurred this evening at about 7:06 p.m. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the injured rider to Hemet Valley Medical Center where he later died about 7:47 p.m., the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner said.
Lanes were reopened by 9:09 p.m., according to Press Enterprise News. Police are investigating the incident, attempting to discern the cause.
