Henry Vindiola, 68, Killed in Head-On Crash at Alabama and River Bluff
REDLANDS (October 27, 2018) – A driver killed after a traffic collision in the area of Alabama Street and River Bluff Avenue Wednesday has been identified as Henry Vindiola, according to The Press Enterprise.
San Bernardino County coroner’s office said the 68-year-old Highland man was a victim of a tragic accident which took place at about 6:40 p.m. near the intersection.
As per the article, deputies affirmed that Vindiola was driving a Ford Fusion on Alabama Street near Riverside Bluff Avenue when his car was struck by a Chevrolet Suburban.
The Suburban driven by a 73-year-old San Bernardino man was headed north on Alabama when for an unknown reason he drifted over the center line and clipped a Nissan SUV. The SUV was traveling south at the time.

The Chevrolet then collided head-on with the Fusion. Vindiola was found suffering from traumatic injuries following the crash. He was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Suburban and his 57-year-old female passenger were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries ranging from moderate to major degree.
Their names and condition at this time were not disclosed. No one inside the Nissan was hurt as a result of the wreck. The incident remains under investigation.
