HESPERIA, California (May 2, 2016) — A bicyclist was struck by a driver early Sunday morning on Mariposa Road, just south of Ranchero Road, according to the Victor Valley News.
The crash took place about 7:26 a.m. when the bike rider was hit by the driver of a black 2004 GMC Sierra. Paramedics with the San Bernardino County Fire Department airlifted the critically injured rider to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The driver remained at the scene and was questioned by police.
The crash is under investigation by the Major Accident Investigation Team to determine liability.
