HESPERIA, California (January 15, 2016) — Three cars and a semi-tractor trailer truck collided Friday morning in a crash on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway, just south of Oak Hill Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported at 6:10 a.m. between a gray Toyota Corolla, a blue Ford Focus, a white Ford F-250 pickup truck and the big rig truck. The pickup reportedly struck the back of the larger truck and the Toyota was facing the wrong way in traffic. The vehicles were blocking traffic and a SigAlert was issued for the No. 1 lane. It appears one of the vehicles may have left the scene of the crash.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability.
