Multi-Vehicle Collision on Rock Springs Road

Hesperia, CA (February 25, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Rock Springs Road on February 23, Thursday.

According to Victor Valley News Group, a woman was behind the wheel of a silver Subaru traveling in the streets of Hesperia. When the Subaru approached the 19200 block of Rock Springs Road, the driver let a Victor Valley Transit Authority bus merge in front of her.

Earlier reports indicated a black Chevrolet Traverse driving in the opposite way suddenly crossed the center lane, and veered into the path of the bus. The article published online mentioned the bus operator careened off the roadway in an attempt to avoid head-on collision. For this reason, the bus ended up plowing into a nearby yard.

Shortly after 8:13 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the scene. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the driver of the Chevrolet, who sustained injuries in the collision. Medical personnel transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment.

Detectives handling the case continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the traffic accident that happened on Rock Springs Road in Hesperia.
