2 Injured in Hesperia Crash on 15 Freeway Near Joshua Street
HESPERIA, CA (March 22, 2022) – At least two were injured after a car crash on the 15 Freeway near Joshua Street in Hesperia.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about at 12:06 p.m.
The incident happened on March 21 when six vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Hesperia. They crashed on the southbound 15 Freeway, just north of the Joshua Street off-ramp.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The California Highway Patrol described three of the cars as a silver SUV, a white Honda, and a black Kia. All three obtained moderate to major damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They confirmed that at least two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment at the site. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the Nos 1 and 2 lanes of the southbound 15 Freeway to shut down near Joshua following the wreck. The cause of the Hesperia crash is still under investigation.
