2 Injured in Hesperia Crash on Highway 138 Near 15 Freeway
HESPERIA, CA (May 26, 2021) – Two were flown after a car crash on Highway 138 in Hesperia on Wednesday afternoon.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, officers received a call about the solo-vehicle accident at around 3:21 p.m.
The incident happened when for an unknown reason, a black SUV spun out of control near a sharp curb on Highway 138 in Hesperia. The California Highway Patrol said the car then rolled over multiple times.
Victims Airlifted After Rollover Collision
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene, about a mile from the 15 Freeway. They found the two occupants of the SUV trapped inside as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel extricated both patients from the wreckage. Two air ambulances took them to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Officials did not disclose their names and condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a portion of Highway 138 to shut down following the Hesperia crash.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the wreck.
