Hesperia: Car Crash on Highway 395 Near Main Street

3 Hospitalized After Collision Near Main Street

Hesperia, CA (May 11, 2023) – A traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 395 Thursday night resulted in injuries, according to Victor Valley News Group.

Earlier reports indicated two vehicles collided near Main Street in Hesperia on May 11. Preliminary investigation revealed a white Toyota Prius sustained extensive damage due to the force from the impact. Meanwhile, the other vehicle, a Chevy Suburban SUV, ended up disabled several hundred feet away from the point of collision.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the site. Firefighters worked for hours to extricate the female driver trapped in the mangled Toyota.

Major Injury Traffic Accident in Hesperia

Our sources indicated the woman driving the Toyota, and two other unidentified parties sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Two Mercy Airships landed on the highway, then airlifted two victims in critical condition to trauma hospital. Authorities added a ground ambulance transported the third victim to a hospital.

Pending confirmation, the names of the three people badly hurt in the crash have not been discussed thus far.

Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the car accident that happened on State Route Highway 395 in Hesperia.
