2 Injured in Hesperia Car Crash on Mariposa Road Wednesday
HESPERIA, CA (November 10, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash on Mariposa Road in Hesperia.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:17 a.m.
Hesperia police said a silver GMC Yukon and a white Chevy Colorado pickup truck collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed along Mariposa Road.
SUV and Pickup Truck Collide
Officers added that a woman riding the Chevy ended up ejected from the car upon impact. She sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found another person, a passenger in the SUV, hurt. They took both patients to local hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police forced a stretch of Mariposa Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Hesperia car crash is under investigation. Anyone with information can call the police at 760-947-1500.
