2 Critically Injured in Hesperia Crash at Rock Springs and Glendale
HESPERIA, CA (November 15, 2020) – A car crash at Rock Springs Road and Glendale Avenue left two people critically injured in Hesperia.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident occurred on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck on November 14 at about 7:15 p.m.
A green pickup truck and a white van collided for an unknown reason at the intersection of Rock Springs Road and Glendale Avenue.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated two occupants who ended up trapped in the wreckage. Both rescued individuals suffered critical injuries following the incident.
Victims Airlifted After Pickup Truck and Van Collide
The report added that the male occupant of the pickup truck lost consciousness because of the impact of the crash. The other person was unresponsive as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then brought them to the Hesperia Airport. One air ambulance transported the first patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Another helicopter took the second wounded party to Loma Linda University Medical Center. The names of the victims and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, officers forced a part of Rock Springs Road to shut down due to the crash. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
