4 Critically Injured in Hesperia Crash on Summit Valley Road Near Airport
HESPERIA, CA (July 7, 2022) – Several were critically injured after a car crash on Summit Valley Road near the airport in Hesperia.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:35 p.m.
The incident happened on July 6 when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. They crashed on Summit Valley Road, three miles west from the Hesperia Airport.
The California Highway Patrol described the cars as a white Honda Civic, a white 4-door Subaru, and a lime-green Jeep Rubicon.
Multiple Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of four people, including a pregnant woman, hurt.
Two of them sustained critical injuries as a result of the collision and the other two survived with less severe injuries.
An air ambulance took one patient to Loma Linda University Medical Center. A helicopter airlifted another to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Hesperia car crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced Summit Valley Road to shut down in both directions near the airport for two hours following the wreck.
