Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 Freeway, Near Oak Hill Road
HESPERIA, Calif. (August 24, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Hesperia crash happened early Wednesday morning on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway, just south of Oak Hill Road.
The collision occurred about 3:26 a.m. on August 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials initially reported a driver in a black 4-door sedan was facing perpendicular in the fast lane or middle lane of the freeway and the vehicle was blacked out. A second driver in a silver Honda CRV reportedly struck the black sedan from behind causing the Honda to overturn and its airbags deployed. The silver Honda CRV landed near the center divider. Also, a red Nissan Rogue may have also been injured, but there are no further details.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help those hurt in the Hesperia crash, but there are no specific details.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
