Boy, 11, Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Choiceana and Hercules
Hesperia, CA (May 28, 2022) – An 11-year-old boy died following a road accident that occurred in the area of Choiceana Avenue and Hercules Street.
According to Victor Valley News Group, the juvenile was riding his skateboard in the streets of Hesperia Saturday afternoon. The crash happened when the skater approached the intersection of Choiceana and Hercules. For reasons still under investigation, an oncoming vehicle drove through the crossing at the same time and struck the boy.
Skateboarder Killed in Hesperia Traffic Accident
The collision resulted in life-threatening injuries to the skateboarder. Responding paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital. Sadly, the patient succumbed to his injuries and passed away shortly after 12:35 p.m. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver involved in the unfortunate event reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the fatal crash at Choiceana Avenue and Hercules Street in Hesperia.
