HESPERIA, California (October 7, 2016) –Two drivers ages 24 and 37 years old were killed early Friday morning after their vehicles collided on Ranchero Road, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner.
The fatal crash took place about 2:50 a.m., roughly 75 feet east of Outpost Road, the report said.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene where they say the 24-year-old driving an eastbound Honda Civic identified as Jose Corral veered into the path of a westbound Mitsubishi Mirage driven by Eduardo “Eddie” Frayre and crashed head-on.
Eddie Frayre, 37, sadly did not survive the impact of the collision as he was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. Frayre sadly leaves behind four children and his wife, Maribel Frayre.
Corral also suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the fatal crash to determine what may have caused the crash and is looking into whether Corral may have been under the influence.
