Man Seriously Injured in Highway 395 Crash; Amadi Arnold Dead
HESPERIA (August 17, 2018) – One was killed and another was seriously injured after a traffic collision along Highway 395 on Thursday evening, according to Victor Valley News and The Daily Press.
The accident involving two vehicles took place at about 7 p.m., near Poplar Street.
As per the reports, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Hesperia Station said a black 2007 Toyota Scion was going north on Highway 395 when for an unknown reason its male driver left the roadway onto the right shoulder.

The man lost control of the sedan and re-entered the roadway. The Scion crossed over the double-yellow line and directly into the path of a northbound white 2011 Toyota Camry.
The operator of the Scion was taken to Desert Valley Hospital where he later died. San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department identified the driver as 43-year-old Amadi David Arnold, of Hesperia.
The man driving the Camry was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment with major injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, all lanes of Highway 395 from Main to Joshua streets were forced to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
