1 Killed in Hesperia Crash on Interstate 15 Freeway near Oak Hills Road
HESPERIA, CA (August 28, 2022) – A crash killed at least one person on the Interstate 15 Freeway near Oak Hills Road in Hesperia.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck 6:24 a.m.
The incident happened when five vehicles, including a motorcycle, collided for an unknown reason in Hesperia. They crashed on the northbound 15 Freeway near Oak Hills Road.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
CHP described a car involved as a Toyota Tundra. The report added that the rider ended up pinned underneath a vehicle as a result of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and confirmed that one individual died. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officers forced the northbound lanes of the 15 Freeway to shut down for a time near Oak Hills following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Hesperia crash is still under investigation.
