1 Killed, 2 Injured in Hesperia Head-On Crash on Ranchero Road
HESPERIA, CA (March 26, 2022) – A head-on crash killed one person and injured two others on Ranchero Road in Hesperia.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the tragic accident took place early Saturday. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:44 a.m.
The San Bernardino County Fire said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Hesperia. They crashed in the 14100 block of Ranchero Road between Topaz Avenue and Tropicana Rose Avenue.
Officials described the cars as a Nissan SUV and a Chevy pickup truck. Both the SUV and the pickup obtained extensive front-end damage upon impact.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and extricated a trapped occupant from the Chevy truck. They soon pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV and a second person riding the pickup ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took them to area hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Ranchero Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Hesperia crash is still under investigation.
