Motorcyclist Killed in Hesperia Crash at Mesa Street and 9th Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (July 18, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed after a crash at Mesa Street and 9th Avenue in Hesperia.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the tragic accident occurred late Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:54 a.m.
Deputies said the motorcyclist and a 2015 Jeep Wrangler collided for an unknown reason in Hesperia. They crashed at the intersection of Mesa Street and 9th Avenue.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The rider ended up thrown from the black motorcycle onto the roadway upon impact. The Jeep rolled onto its side as a result of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and soon pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The name of the deceased victim remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials did not mention if the driver of the car sustained injuries following the wreck. Officers then forced the area of Mesa Street and 9th Avenue to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the fatal Hesperia crash is still under investigation.
