2 Injured in Hesperia Crash on Mariposa Road Near Maple Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (April 5, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a head-on crash on Mariposa Road near Maple Avenue in Hesperia.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:20 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in the city of Hesperia. They crashed on Mariposa Road near Maple Avenue.
2 Cars Collide Head-On
Police described the cars as a white Chevy pickup truck and a red Audi sedan. Both vehicles obtained major front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found two people hurt. An air ambulance took one patient to the Loma Linda University Medical Center and listed them as critical.
Medical personnel rushed another individual to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police forced a stretch of Mariposa Road to shut down near Maple following the wreck. The cause of the Hesperia crash is still under investigation.
