Two Critically Injured in Collision on Summit Valley Road
HESPERIA, Calif. (Nov. 25, 2024) — Two people were hospitalized after a head-on traffic crash Saturday night in Hesperia on Summit Valley Road near Trout Road.
Both people were airlifted to trauma centers following the two-vehicle collision around 11:24 p.m. on November 23rd, according to Victor Valley News Group.
The drivers of a white Toyota Corolla and a red Ford Escape SUV were involved.
San Bernardino County Fire responded and located two people with major injuries and requested two medical helicopters to land at Hesperia Airport.
The wife of one of the drivers in the red SUV posted on VVNG’s Facebook page that she is hoping witnesses will step forward. She also requested prayers for her husband.
CHP Victorville station requested Summit Valley Road close down in both directions to conduct an investigation into what happened and determine fault.
