Motorcycle Rider Hurt in Hit-and-run Crash in Hesperia
HESPERIA, Calif. (August 25, 2022) — A Hesperia motorcycle crash happened Tuesday morning at Main Street and Escondido Avenue.
The hit-and-run collision occurred about 12:30 a.m. on August 23rd, according to Victor Valley News.
The motorcycle rider was stopped at a red light when the bike was rear-ended by another motorist in a Honda Accord.
The second driver reportedly left the scene without stopping to help the motorcyclist. However, the motorist left behind their front bumper at the scene.
The rider was knocked off of the motorcycle and he suffered minor injuries.
Police are searching for the suspect in the Honda Accord and noted the vehicle will likely have moderate front-end damage to its hood as well as the missing bumper. A Facebook post by the motorcyclist’s fiancé said the license plate started with a T2.
