Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Hesperia Crash on Summit Valley Road
HESPERIA, CA (November 28, 2021) – A motorcyclist was severely injured after a crash on Summit Valley Road in Hesperia.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident late Sunday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 11:06 a.m.
The incident happened when a male motorcycle rider and a recreational vehicle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at 4544 Summit Valley Road in Hesperia.
Motorcycle and RV Collide
The motorcyclist ended up pinned underneath the RV upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near Highway 138 and rescued him.
The victim sustained severe trauma as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the patient to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the RV suffered any injury following the wreck.
Officers forced a stretch of Summit Valley Road to shut down for more than an hour after the collision. The cause of the Hesperia crash is still under investigation.
