Pedestrian Injured in Hesperia Crash on Main Street Near Pet Grooming Salon

HESPERIA, CA (November 21, 2021) – A pedestrian was airlifted after a crash on Main Street near a pet grooming salon in Hesperia.

According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the incident at about 7:36 p.m.

The incident happened when a 2002 Chevy Suburban going west on Main Street struck a male pedestrian in Hesperia. The car hit him for an unknown reason in the 17100 block of the road.

Victim Hit by Car

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near The Funky Poodle grooming salon. They found the victim hurt as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel rushed him to to the Hesperia Airport where they airlifted him to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The patient sustained unspecified injuries upon impact.

The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and his condition at this time. Meanwhile, officials added that the driver of the SUV stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person.

Officers forced a stretch of Main Street to shut down following the Hesperia pedestrian crash. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
