HESPERIA, California (July 22, 2015) — The driver of a red Dodge Ram pickup truck allegedly struck a driver in a silver Toyota sedan causing it to spin out in a collision on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway at Oak Hill Road, a California Highway Patrol report said
The crash was reported at 7:22 a.m. in the Oak Hills community on the outskirts of Hesperia in Riverside County. The Toyota Corolla would up in the center divider facing the wrong way with major front and rear-end damage. The truck remained in the middle lane after the crash. Paramedics were called as a precaution to help those who may have been injured in the crash.
“People do not always know they are injured immediately after a car crash such as this one, but in the hours after they may begin to feel muscle pain or even whiplash,” said Attorney James Johnson. “It’s important that you seek immediate medical attention if you are hurt in a crash.”
Police are investigating what led to the crash and will determine liability.
