Skateboarder Critically Injured in Crash at 7th Avenue and Main Street
HESPERIA (December 28, 2018) – A skateboarder was critically injured after a traffic collision in the area of Seventh Avenue and Main Street Friday night, according to Victor Valley News.
The accident was reported just after 8:30 p.m.
As per the article, San Bernardino County Fire Department said a man described to be in his 30s was riding a skateboard when he was struck by a van at the intersection of 7th Avenue and Main Street.
The car was traveling west on Main Street when it hit the rider.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the skateboarder lying in the roadway as a result of the crash. He was conscious when the medical personnel arrived.
The patient was reportedly airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton with critical injuries. His name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the occupants of the van involved stopped and cooperated with the authorities. Officials are still investigating the incident.
