1 Seriously Injured in Hidden Valley Lake Crash at Highway 29 and Grange Road
HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, CA (May 23, 2021) – A head-on crash seriously injured one person at Highway 29 and Grange Road in Hidden Valley Lake.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:53 a.m.
A Honda Civic and a small truck collided head-on for an unknown reason in Hidden Valley Lake. The two crashed at the intersection of Highway 29 and Grange Road.
Car Collision Near Golf Course
CHP said one of the vehicles involved rolled over and landed on its roof as a result of the collision. At least one of them sustained major damage due to the impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course. They then extricated a trapped occupant from the wreckage.
An air ambulance took one patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Highway 29 and Grange Road to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Hidden Valley Lake crash.
