1 Killed in Highgrove Crash on 215 Freeway Near La Cadena Drive
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA (July 2, 2022) – A car crash killed a woman on the 215 Freeway near La Cadena Drive in Highgrove.
According to an article published by The Daily Bulletin, the tragic accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 6 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason near Highgrove in San Bernardino County. The cars crashed on the southbound 215 Freeway, south of La Cadena Drive.
Multiple Cars Collide
The report described one car as a sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced the woman driving the sedan dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. CHP did not confirm if any other individual ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Meanwhile, officers forced the southbound lanes of the 215 Freeway to shut down for a time near La Cadena following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Highgrove crash is still under investigation.
