HIGHLAND, California (Monday, October 26, 2015) – A pickup truck killed a pedestrian in a crosswalk at the corner of Base Line and Valaria Drive. The man died at the scene of the accident, according to Press Enterprise News.
A 19 year-old male had been driving a maroon Ford Ranger eastbound on Base Line when he struck the victim. The victim had been 40 years old. Both were residents of Highland.
According to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino, the accident occurred this afternoon at about 7:25 p.m. The cause of the accident is unknown. The driver has not been charged with anything.
