1 Hospitalized After Collision on Orange Street
Highland, CA (May 21, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Orange Street May 20, Saturday.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department reported a passenger vehicle collided with a semi truck near the 8200 block of Orange Street in Highland. Officials said the crash took place at approximately 12:45 a.m.
Major Traffic Accident in Highland
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the smaller vehicle partially pinned underneath the truck. Responding firefighters worked extensively to free all occupants trapped in the mangled car. Medical personnel checked the conditions of all parties involved in the accident. After the evaluation, paramedics decided to transfer one patient to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Investigators assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene for several hours. At this time, they continue to work to determine the precise cause of the traffic accident that happened on Orange Street in Highland.
