HIGHLAND (October 3, 2016)- According to the San Bernardino Coroner, Veronica Garcia, 19, of Redlands, has been identified as the victim killed in a single-vehicle collision Sunday evening on the 210 freeway at Baseline Street.
The incident took place at roughly 9:10 p.m. as the driver of a Dodge Durango lost control of the vehicle causing it to overturn.
Garcia who was a passenger sitting in the back seat was ejected from the vehicle and severely injured.
Paramedics rushed her to St. Bernardine Medical Center, where she sadly did not survive her injuries and was pronounced dead at 10:52 p.m.
At least two other parties suffered injuries in the rollover crash as they were also transported to hospitals.
